How to set the system date & time

To set the system date & time, follow these steps:

  1. Enter system programming by pressing TRANS/PGM * #
  2. Press TRANS/PGM 178
  3. For the system time:
    1. press Flex key 1 (might be labeled Line 1; it is the top left button in the section of 24 buttons)
    2. Enter the time in military time
    3. press SAVE
    4. press SPEAKER to exit OR
  4. For the system date:
    1. press Flex key 2
    2. Enter the date in this format: MMDDYY
    3. press SAVE
    4. press SPEAKER to exit
