Setting up 3CXPhone on Windows

Download the latest version of the 3CXPhone software from the below address:

http://www.3cx.com/downloads/3CXPhone6.msi

Execute the installer and confirm all prompts, there are no options that need to be altered.

Launch "3CX Phone" from the Start Menu. You should see the following Setup. Click the button in bottom middle of the window:

This will bring up another menu, click the "Accounts" icon.

Once the "Accounts" menu appears, click "New":

 

Perform the following:

In the "Account name:" field, type the user’s First and Last name.

In the "Caller ID" field, leave this blank

In "Extension" field, type the user’s 3 digit extension

In the "ID" field, type the user’s 3 digit extension

In the "Password" field, type the password provided by Natural Networks

Select the bubble for "I am out of the office - external IP" then type the [PBX IP] provided by Natural Networks

Check the box for "Use 3CX Tunnel"

In the "Local IP of Remote PBX" field, type the [PBX IP] provided  by Natural Networks. 

In the "Tunnel Password" field, type the Tunnel Password provided by Natural Networks

Do not change the "Port" filed from "5090"

Do not check the boxes for "Use outbound Proxy Server" or "Perform provisioning from the following URL"

 Click "OK" on the "Account Settings" menu.

Click "OK" on the "Accounts" menu.

The phone will connect to the server, if successful you should see "On Hook" within 45 seconds. 

You may now Create and Receive calls from the 3CX Phone software.

 

*If you have issues with your microphone or speakers*

You may need to alter your Microphone and Speaker settings:

Click the bottom middle button in the window:

 

Click the button for "Preferences"

Select the correct Speaker and Microphone from the drop down menu and click "OK"
